“Arbaaz has penned it (the script) himself and it's a mind-blowing script,” Salman is quoted to have said.

Arbaaz Khan in now hopeful that the can start filming Dabangg 2 in the middle of next year and he want's to use the time in-between wisely. Arbaaz wants to make sure that he creates a good product, read need a good script, and the most important thing of all -- find an item song that will be as big a sensation as Malaika's Munni badnam hui.

In the meantime, there are two remakes for Dabangg fans to consider, the Tamil version which has already started filming, and a Telugu version which is in the works.

In the Tamil remake young south star Silambarasan will be playing Salman Khan's character Chulbul Pandey.
